Tareen makes Tollywood debut

I met with her at that event and before leaving she took my contact number. A few days later, she contacted me with the script and I also liked it. And then we started working on it,” she added. Tareen said the shooting started four years ago but Covid-19 outbreak halted production. “We lost hope of whether or not the film would be released. That's when producers Shubhankar Mitra and Subhas Mehra and director Manasi Sinha worked hard over the film's release,” she said. Saswata Chatterjee and Aparajita Adhya are the protagonists of the film. Tareen played the role of Aparajita Adhya's daughter-in-law. In 1985, she won the reality television competition programme 'Notun Kuri' for acting, dancing, and storytelling. She made her television debut as a child actor in Humayun Ahmed's family drama 'Ei Shob Din Ratri'. She won three Meril Prothom Alo Awards for her performances in 'Kotha Chhilo Onnorokom' (2006), 'Maya' (2007), and 'Green Velvet' (2012).
