Sydney pitch not ideal for Test cricket: Sunil Gavaskar
Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said the green pitch in the ongoing fifth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground is not ideal for playing international red-ball cricket. After 11 wickets fell on day one, day two saw an additional 15 wickets tumble. India, having bowled out Australia for 181, took a slender four-run first-innings lead and reached 141/6 at stumps, extending their overall lead to 145.
