After that the second game of the day was closer as they lost to a Nipawin qualifier 2-1 (18-21, 21-15, 21-18). That tight loss put them behind the eight ball headed into the second match against Lloydminster, where they lost 2-0 (21-17, 21-11) to end their day with a fourth place finish in Pool B. For girls singles, Rosetown (Green) was the lone local competitor. Rosetown lost a close game to Indian Head in the opener 2-0 (21-18, 23-21).
