The Pittsburgh Penguins made a couple of roster moves Tuesday, including re-assigning struggling young defenseman Jack St. Ivany to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. The right-handed St. Ivany made his NHL debut late last season, creating a stable third-pairing with Ryan Shea on the left, as the Penguins went on a late season run, nearly erasing a nine-point deficit before falling short after 81 games. St. Ivany, 25, has struggled this season. In 14 games, he has one assist and is a minus-3, including numerous mistakes leading to goals against. The Penguins signed him as a college free agent in 2022
