Learn & play chess at the local Public Library

Sponsored by McCall, the Schulenburg Chess Club is free to ages 5 and up. It meets every Wednesday at the Public Library from 4:45-5:45 p.m. McCall taught science for 15 years, served as an elementary school counselor for 20 years, and has spent 19 years as a scholastic chess coach. He provides free chess lessons and starts each SCC meeting with a short lesson, followed by casual play time and International Chess Foundation rules.
