Indian teenager Gukesh gets first win in chess worlds final
Indian teenager Dommaraju Gukesh claimed his first victory in the chess world championships final against title holder Ding Liren of China on Wednesday in Singapore to level the tie at 1.5-1.5 points. Gukesh, 18, put Ding under pressure from the start of the third match, and won after 37 moves because Ding ran out of the required time for 40 moves. “It feels great.
