European Club Cup: Keymer and Pähtz as match winners
In the third round of the European Club Cup, top favourite SuperChess had to play against team Vugar Gashimov from Azerbaijan, a challenging task which SuperChess, however, solved with ease: they won 5-1. Vincent Keymer scored the winning point for Novy Bor against the Vados Chess Club.
