Ayaan wins gold medal in Western Asian Youth Chess
CHANDIGARH: Twelve years old Ayaan Garg of Chandigarh bagged gold medal in the 7th Western Asian Youth Chess Championship 2024 in the U12 Open category (Standard/ classic) held at Sri Lanka from July 8 to 15. Ayaan has also won the Individual silver medal for Bharatn in the U-12 open category (Rapid) in the same championship held at Sri Lanka. The tournament concluded yesterday afternoon in Sri Lanka, where players from 10 different countries had come to participate.
